Computer Nook

This is where I do my blogging, making cards, emailing, etc. We took a closet and removed the doors and took the clothes rod down and wooden shelves. We then added the wire shelves for me to place my baskets on. I have paper, stickers, label, etc. in them. I have two computer towers. When I bought my newest computer, a lot of my programs were not compatible. I keep the old tower mainly to make greeting cards. I am not able to get out very often to buy cards so I create them and my friends seem to like them better because I can make them personal. I have also done some digital scrap booking on the old one too. The picture on the right shows my wallpaper on my modem at this time. I like to give equal time to the grandchildren. I had the granddaughter so now it is mostly the boys.

  1. Marie,

Now here is taking creativity to a whole new level. I like what you have done here. Seeing beyond what rooms or spaces were designed for and made it something unique and practical.

  2. My husband (to be) makes our own cards as well. They're always much more personable.
What a cozy little nook! I have a stool and a one foot square section on the counter where I am constantly interrupted. I think I need to find a nook!
Happy Anniversary! What an inspiration for us just starting off in four more days! I agree I think marriage is always a work in progress. My grandmother once told me to always give in to the little things. : )
    Be well. ~Andrea~

  4. What a nice area to work in. It looks so cozy and inviting. My computer area looks like a disaster. There is no way I could show it to you right now, so thanks for showing us yours. I will imagine that I am sitting in your peaceful area right now creating treasures. Blessings to you.

  7. That is a wonderful nook! I love your baskets and everything about it! We have a computer "room" right now but it is such a mess! It has shelves and boxes and tables full of misc. stuff. (not to mention an onery kitten that just won't leave me alone!!)
I guess I should get off the computer and get busy decluttering, right?
    Hugs! Beth
